This week I’ve been working on a short comedy piece. I don’t want to give too much away, but above is a screen shot that tells you a little bit about the kind of guerilla camera trickery we’ve been up to, including hanging out of windows with tripods held down using fishing wire, and lying in the dirt to get floor level perspectives. As a DOP, it’s been an incredibly fun and energetic shoot. I’ve even danced with the camera!
This one’s had a great cast and an amazing crew of mostly student and recent graduate filmmakers. It’s been incredibly refreshing to work with such a fantastic team, I’m totally psyched about the final edit. We have one more shoot day before we wrap. I can’t wait!
